“He certainly intends to” Conte will do some business in January claims Journalist

By Bruce Grove -

Journalist, Paul Brown, is convinced Antonio Conte intends to spend some good money in the January transfer window.

The Italian has inherited an underperforming Tottenham squad, and he will look to improve it asap.

His intense training sessions and demanding managerial style should see most of the players currently at the club perform better.

However, those who cannot meet the required standard will almost certainly be replaced in the squad.

This could start from as early as the January transfer window, and Brown expects the former Inter Milan boss to make some signing then.

He tells Give Me Sport: “I think he certainly intends to make a bit of a splash in January.”

The Boy Hotspur Says

Tottenham needs to spend in January if we want a good end to this campaign.

The performance we have seen from Conte’s team so far suggests several players at the club cannot deliver.

If we want the former Chelsea boss to succeed, then we need to back him with the right players.

If there are outstanding players who can change clubs in the winter transfer window, then we should look at improving our squad with them.
