Darren Bent has praised the impact that Sergio Reguilon has had at Tottenham since his summer move.
The Spaniard was one of the players that the club landed to help them push for a top-four return.
He was one of the best left-backs in Europe last season as he helped Sevilla win the Europa League.
Seville was his temporary home as he had only been on loan at the club, Spurs signed him from Real Madrid on his return to the Spanish giants.
He has been a revelation with his all-round display for the club, but his forays forward have been amazing, and Bent says that Harry Kane will be delighted to have such a teammate.
Kane is an accomplished striker, but needs good balls being delivered to him before he can score. That is something that Reguilon does perfectly.
He told Football Insider: “Going forward, superb. He’s put in a couple of great crosses for Harry Kane.
“Harry Kane must be thinking ‘Wow… I love playing with this guy.’
“Defensively there are maybe still one or two questions but on the whole, I think he’s done really, really well.
“I think Mourinho will be very pleased with that signing. He offers them a lot in attack and when he puts a ball in he puts it in with real quality.”
He just mean Steve Wonder could see this. Most pundit speak the obvious. We learn nothing about players once they go down the tunnelll.
Not to deny that Reggie does put in a few good crosses.
“Kane is an accomplished striker but needs good balls being delivered before he can score”
Funny, I see in Kane a man who is quite capable of fashioning his own chances and scoring from them. For example his goal last match at Sheffield.
Darren Bent is probably thinking of how he himself used to play, at a somewhat lower level than Mr H.
