Graphic: Today’s Tottenham International Duty Roster

By The Boy -

Another string of international appearances for Tottenham players lined up for today and for those of you still basking in the carefree remote working environment, then the first game is at 2 pm (so if you get a Zoom call scheduled for then, you’ll know what’s afoot).

Japhet, Ollie, and Ryan are all primed to feature for England’s U21s who play Switzerland.

At teatime, Pierre will surely start for Denmark who hosts Israel, and finally, the evening kick-off is where Harry Kane and Eric ‘don’t blame me’ Dier will face the mighty Sam Marino.

Eric Dier and Harry Maguire, that’s a pairing for the ages.

I had heard he had a good start but then i looked recently and he hadn’t played many more games…. now I know why. I have high hopes for him long term.

He was doing well mate. He arrived and suffered racist abuse on social media after his first game. Not letting this faze him, he was a regular starter scoring 2 and assisting 2 in 16 odd games, he recieved a player of the month award and then picked up an injury a couple months ago. He should be back on the pitch now or soon.

Wonder what odds I’ll get from the bookies for San Marino getting a goal (Maybe even a penalty 🙂)…England should win easily with Harry playing in his current form.
