Good news – Tottenham open up talks to sign 21-year-old ace claims journalist

Tottenham seems to be closing in on the signing of Nigerian youngster, Victor Osimhen ahead of the transfer window.

The striker was in fine form for Lille in his first season with the French side, and that may well be his last season for the Ligue 1 outfit.

Several top European teams have been looking to sign him, and one of Tottenham’s main competition for his signature is SS Napoli.

The Italians are moving fast in their bid to land him, but the player seems to be keeping his options open.

Respected journalist, Manu Lonjon claims that there has been a new exchange between the striker and Napoli in the last couple of days before adding that the striker would be meeting with Tottenham in the next 48 hours.

Lille has a decision to make, but the French team won’t stand in the striker’s way if a tempting offer comes around and Lonjon adds that a decision on his future would be made by the weekend.

Osimhen is seen as the perfect backup to Harry Kane and his age also puts him in a position to replace the Englishman should Spurs decide to cash in on the World Cup Golden Boot winner in the future.
