Arsenal’s poor defending in the North London Derby was in part their downfall. This move highlights the disarray that Arsenal found themselves in.
The Gunners’ German centre half managed to make himself look like a rookie playing a computer game. The tackle was not so much late, as almost an entirely unrelated incident.
Spurs were marginally improved in the North London Derby, and deserved their win. This was the cherry on top.
