Good news for Spurs with Wales set to rest Gareth Bale for at least one game

Gareth Bale will sit out Wales international friendly game against the USA after picking up a slight injury.

The attacker player almost 80 minutes in Tottenham’s 1-0 win over West Brom at the weekend before he headed to his national team camp for the November friendly games.

He was substituted at the weekend in that game for what looked like a tactical switch.

However, he was seen being strapped with an ice pack on his ankle after leaving the pitch meaning he probably had a knock.

Sun Sports is reporting that Wales caretaker boss, Robert Page will not take chances on his fitness and he will be left out of the game, but he will probably play the other two games that they have in this international window.

The Welshmen will take on the Republic of Ireland and Finland later in this international window, both games are Nations League matches and are more important than Thursday’s friendly games.

Spurs have worked so hard to get Bale back to his level of fitness at the moment and the club will hope that he doesn’t get injured in the international break again like it was the last time that he played for them.
