Protocol’s jumped alert: Pierluigi Gollini has gone public via his Instagram account announcing his move to Tottenham Hotspur, before it has been officially declared.
According to The Athletic‘s Charlie Eccleshare, Gollini joins Spurs as a backup keeper, and one might presume that the idea here is to groom the Italian in order that he can in time step into the shoes of Hugo Lloris.
If this is our number one in waiting, then Daniel Levy has got himself a very inexpensive replacement.
We’ll soon fix that
He’s lucky the goalkeeper away shirt is plainish green. The outfield away shirt is horrendous. Not sure I’d sign if I had to wear that and pretend to be happy about it. That aside, good luck to him.
Good Luck my Son
Seems like a sane individual, which is always a good start.
