From the moment that I saw Olivier Giroud’s name on the Chelsea teamsheet today, it was obvious that he was going to score.

He had an unfortunate nack of notching big goals for Arsenal against us and, after nearly signing him in January, it was entirely predictable he’d rediscover that habit in this crucial clash in the top-four race.

Giroud and Ross Barkley both came close before the Frenchman finally put the ball in the net with a thumping finish which beat Hugo Lloris at his near post. Could the skipper do better? Watch the video and judge for yourself.
