It’s all change at Tottenham, and the Brentford-lite coaching staff line-up has been replaced to bring in the men that they want to help Igor Tudor keep Spurs up and out of the Championship.

Tomislav Rogić is the new goalkeeping coach as part of the coaching staff overhaul under recently appointed head coach Igor Tudor.

This appointment was confirmed on February 16th, coinciding with Tudor’s first official day in the role (interim until the end of the season, following the departure of previous head coach Thomas Frank).

Rogić arrives alongside Tudor’s trusted collaborators: Ivan Javorčić (assistant coach) and Riccardo Ragnacci (physical coach). These staff members previously worked with Tudor during his time at Juventus and other clubs like Lazio and Hajduk Split.

Rogić, a 50-year-old Croatian (born March 22, 1975, in Zadar), has a background as a former goalkeeper who transitioned into coaching. His career highlights include: Goalkeeping coach roles at Shakhtar Donetsk (under Mircea Lucescu), Zenit St. Petersburg, the Indian national team, Hajduk Split, and, most recently, Juventus with Tudor.

He brings specialised experience in goalkeeper development across top European and international setups. This move is subject to work permit clearances. Spurs fans and analysts see this as part of Tudor’s effort to instil his intense, aggressive style, with Rogić focused on refining the goalkeeping unit (including players like Guglielmo Vicario). Early reactions on X highlight the continuity from Tudor’s Juventus stint.

Riccardo Raganacci has a history of working closely with Tudor.

He served as the athletic coach under him at Juventus (until Tudor’s sacking in late 2025), and previously at clubs like Hellas Verona. His background includes roles at Empoli, Lecce, and others in Italian football, focusing on fitness, conditioning, and athletic preparation.

This move aligns with Tudor’s reputation for demanding, high-intensity styles, so expect an emphasis on physical conditioning to help implement more structured, pressing-oriented play at Spurs.

Ivan Javorčić

Ivan Javorčić is a 47-year-old Croatian football coach.

The former defensive midfielder. Javorčić has a strong background in Italian football: He recently served as assistant coach to Igor Tudor at Juventus (starting March 2025), following Tudor from Lazio where he held the same role in 2024.

Before that, he was the head coach of Venezia (Serie B, 2022) and achieved promotion with Südtirol to Serie B in 2021/22 as their manager.

His coaching style often features a preferred 3-5-2 formation, with a solid defensive record from his time at Südtirol. Note that he left Juventus (along with Tudor’s staff) around late October 2025 after Tudor’s dismissal there, which aligns with him now becoming available and moving to Spurs. This appointment likely ties into Tottenham’s efforts to bolster their coaching setup.

Javorčić brings Serie A experience and a track record working under high-profile managers like Tudor. If this is confirmed officially by the club soon, it should add tactical depth, especially in defensive organisation and Italian-influenced systems.
