Gareth Bale To Spurs Is 100% A Done Deal As BT Sport’s Jake Humphrey Breaks Rank [image]

By The Boy -

EDIT: and now Humphrey has deleted his Tweet.

Some fans won’t be happy with the way the new finally broke, but such is life and the way of a Tottenham fan, eh? Jake Humphrey the BT Sport presenter has Tweeted that he has an exclusive interview with ‘you-know-who’ ahead of the Southampton versus Tottenham match tomorrow lunchtime.

This interview is obviously with Gareth Bale, the player on everyone’s lips in world football, right now. BT are covering the Tottenham game and it is pretty impossible to believe that it could be anyone but Bale that’s lined up.

This is naughty of Jake, but his cheek has stolen a march Tottenham’s official unveiling which one would presume will be later today.

Daniel Levy is unlikely to be impressed with having his thunder stolen, but then this isn’t the first time he’s dawdled over a transfer deal, eh?

This is undoubtedly a great signing, as Bale will give Spurs the authenticity it has been craving ever since the stadium was built.

I *believe* that it is overwhelmingly done, as an interview was arranged. It is extremely likely that Jake has been screamed at by Donna Cullen. Hence, the Tweet being removed.

It’s not a “done deal” yet. It’s beginning to feel like it could be a mistake.

Liverpool sign a player and make it public in 2 hours.

Then there’s us … Only we could long out a loan deal when we already know the terms of that loan.

Levy strikes again.

ENIC OUT !

You’re right. It’s probably Mike Yarwood.

I bet our medics were a bit iffy about his knee. They are a overly cautious bunch if you remember they failed Moussa Dembele who went onto have a sterling, mostly injury free career and would have solved our striker problem years ago. The chief medic probably feinted when he saw Bale’s legs! I bet Levy was on the phone straight away trying to get a reduction…
