Gabriel Jesus stunned by Brazilian star Conte wants to sign

By Mehdi Gokal -

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus praised Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick on ESPN, amid reports linking the Brazilian to Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

Last week, Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola stated on his YouTube channel that Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, and Paris Saint-Germain are all interested in signing the 16-year-old Brazilian forward and are reportedly prepared to make a bid for him.

However, because the forward is only 16, he will be unable to join any European club until he turns 18. However, they could reach an agreement with Palmeiras now and bring him over when he turns 18.

Jesus told ESPN (via Goal): “I’ve been following Endrick a lot. During the time I was training at the Academy when I was coming back from injury, Zé Roberto introduced us. Then I saw him on the field… Wow, he’s a star! Phenomenon!”

“I’m really rooting for him. I think Palmeiras is doing well to put him in training and take him to games.”

Endrick is already regarded as one of Brazil’s most promising young players, with a host of clubs eager to sign him. And this week, the teenager demonstrated his potential again by scoring the game-winning goal for Palmeiras in the Brasileirao Sub-20 final against Corinthians.
