“Funny way to apologize” Spurs fan can’t get over losing NLD

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham fans were understandably seething from the team’s below-par performance in their 2-1 loss against Arsenal at the weekend.

Spurs went into that NLD in fine form and their fans were confident that their red-hot front three would fire them to another win over their bitterest rivals.

They took the lead in that game against the run of play, but unlike in the reverse fixture, they didn’t build on it and Arsenal scored twice to turn the game on its head.

The Lilywhites have moved on from the game and are already preparing for their next match, but a few of their fans have been stuck in that defeat and some are waiting for an apology from the club.

Yesterday was the birthday of one of Tottenham’s finest Brazilian imports, Sandro Raniere and the club Tweeted their birthday wishes for the midfielder.

Their aggrieved fans thought they should have apologised for the loss to Arsenal instead of moving on so fast. They made that known in the comments of the post.

Here are some of the reactions:

It is difficult to get over that NLD game we were very poor specially in the 1st half I accept but Arsenal was so poor as well they needed the referee to help them against 10 men Spurs to win that game, that says a lot how abysmal Arsenal is, imagine with out that penalty the game would have ended a draw and we were so poor and 10 men that is the part one can’t get over it.
