Forget José vs Tanguy It’s ENIC vs Us: This fan opinion bites

Levy loves Ligue1 for some reason, as we have seen over recent years to little positive effect. Apart from Loris, I can’t think of a single French player that has worked out well at Spurs, probably because Levy signs the ones no other big clubs want. Levy doesn’t compete with other serious clubs for players for the simple reason that they will always do what they need to get the deal done. Levy only enters negotiations when there is no competition, he wants a clear run.

Tanguy clearly has issues and when he signed, his previous attitude issues in France were spoken about. However, to get the best out of such a player who’s clearly talented you need a suitable coach. Apparently Tanguy asked to speak to Poch before signing and had heard positive things about Poch developing players.

Levy needs to decide what sort of football approach he wants in place. We are forever signing players between the ages of 19-20 years old. Cheaper, lower wage demands, greater profit when sold, etc, we all know why. Therefore, the decision to sack Poch based on present results after making no signings for ages before the summer was typically short-sighted. Levy created the need for rebuilding the squad because of his neglect of it in the first place.

Now you have a coach in Jose who isn’t exactly famed for developing young players having to deal with the inevitable issues that arise with signings like Tanguy. The whole situation is a mess compared to where we were a couple of years ago and the only person to blame in all of this is Daniel Levy. We are always told that ‘it’s his club, he does what he wants’ by the coaches so why these dumb, mug fans don’t start pointing the finger at him more is totally beyond explanation.

Wrong player for the wrong coach and the wrong chairman, for the best club in the world…

Who signed Tanguy? Who sacked Poch, who hired Jose, who created this mess?

Lo Celso really looks a player, Poch played a bit of a role in that one as I recall too.

I hope Jose makes things happen because the team’s success always comes first but with the way things are set up under Levy
along with his defensive approach and Cheatski connections, I just don’t see him as a very good fit. We will have to wait and see,
happy to be proved wrong but the real problems come from the top. Jose’s past successes count for nothing in this environment.

Well, last nights performance was composed. Sissoko, although not in his favoured position had a great game and I dont compliment that oaf easily.

Los Celso. Yes yes.

Kane getting chances, his attritional nature with goals means quite simply that the more chances he misses the closer we get to a goal. Last night was a great example of this.

Dier. Dont know why but I love him and im glad he is looking less oafish since the restart.

Composure was what I took from last night. Jose is begining to settle and I love him.

Too much love from me so I’ll sign off. Good to be back on the blog but am I the only one asking where Harry has got to?

Yeah he got some good deals a d sweet players for sure but he always leaves someone with a bad taste in there mouth. Aldervield, Ali, Ericson to name a few . I basically would like the Liverpool owners format rather than enics.
When the stadium starts earning money we will get drip fed the bare minimum on players ,it’s all so easy to predict.

In the most part agree.
Levy did though sign all the players that looked so promising for that 2-3 year period under Poch. But yes, Levy was the reason we didn’t push on under Poch.

We all k ow levy and enic are to blame for most things ,give him his due he was shrewd when coming to signings but that was a long time ago. Now he makes fatal mistakes and is well known for bad sportsmanship like changing deals in the last hour etc ,basically most chairmen steer well clear. With him and enic it’s all a scam I bloody hate them borrow loads of money let us pay and have a average team . There are lots of big clubs in our league and newcastle will and maybe Everton in the future to that list ,,none of us can guarantee leagues and cups certainly not spurs anyway . We had 4 chances to win the league and those tw ats chose not to spend the money. All the stars fell into place for once and they fu cked it.
Utter cu nts.
