There hasn’t been any coverage of today’s friendly against Norwich on Tottenham’s official Twitter account, but thanks to Josh Martin’s Snapchat we can gather that it ended in a 2-1 defeat.

While a little disconcerting to lose to the Premier League’s bottom club, you should never read too much into friendly results especially until we know more about the lineups and the structure of the game.
Alasdair Gold of Football London reported on Twitter that the game was extended beyond 90 minutes – much like our last defeat to Norwich. There are also rumblings that the game was split into four 30-minute sections, which immediately dilutes any sense of genuine competition.
We are also due in action against Reading tomorrow which I imagine will be much of the same; an exercise in fitness and little else.
The results only start to matter on June 19, unless we’d have won of course in which case I’d be writing about our top-four destiny right now…

Sometimes the fa were kind to us moving our games to sundays and mondays.. But we often had to play on saturday too with only a days rest. Its why redknapp always played the kids and fringe players until we hit the knockout stages. Poch made points about it too, while throwing games in it and favouring the prem (because he had to make that choice, or levy made it for him).. Theres loads more games to play too its a long grindy gruelling comp. Hard to win as well because any decent champs league team can get demoted into it towards the end.
Correct me if I am wrong but If you play Thursday your next match is Sunday.
Yes mate only villa have leaked more goals this season. Mr Kane and Mr Son had better find their magic boots quick. Squeaky bum time, no room for error…. I just don’t want that europey league. Its long, tough to win, and those thursday nights are killers towards end of the comp. Thursday nights followed by saturdays are ok for a few weeks but eventually takes its toll.

Norwich! Done us again! Even friendlies are telling, winners don’t make a habit of losing friendlies.. I used to say there is no such thing as a friendly, get too friendly then theres a chance of losing. Personally I would play a friendly same as any other match… We need to win all our final games now, its possible but highly unlikely… We should be smashing norwich every day of the week. They are litter.
Coco scored with a diving header they scored in the last 10 mins when we had the kids on at the back.
