Ian Wright believes that Jose Mourinho will outsmart Manchester United manager, Ole Gunner Solkjaer in their Premier League clash this weekend and earn all three points for his team.
Spurs will take on the Red Devils on Sunday in a game that will see Mourinho return to Old Trafford to face the man who replaced him at the club in 2018.
Both managers have been aiming digs at each other recently and that adds to the complexion of the game.
United have struggled at the start of this season. They lost their first league game at home to Crystal Palace, before earning a very controversial 3-2 win at Brighton in their last league game.
Spurs also started their league season with a loss, but they beat Southampton away 5-2 in their second league game before being held to a 1-1 draw by Newcastle United last weekend.
Mourinho’s side has done well in the cup games, winning both cup ties this week, and Wright believes that they can beat Manchester United.
“United, they looked to me, when I saw them against Brighton and against Palace, they’ve reverted back to life before Bruno Fernandes got here,” Wright told Premier League Productions via Mirror Football.
“It seems very easy to nullify and it’s almost like they’re waiting for somebody to do something amazing and then they’ll kick on.
“You see strikers, like Dominic Calvert-Lewin, [Neal] Maupay, [Jamie] Vardy, they’ve not got a striker who’s always in there, in that six yard box, ready to score, at United I don’t see that.
“Spurs have got it with Harry Kane.
“United, they’ve got to create a lot, things have got to happen, they’ve got to play very well for this movement to happen and someone to be in there to finish it.
“I just feel that Mourinho will probably do something that’s going to nullify them, cause them problems and frustrate them, and they’ve got Harry Kane so they’ll only need one chance.”

We’re not just playing United we’re up against Stockley Park and VAR, always ready to rescue them and Liverpool if they’re in trouble.
