Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has reportedly had a fall-out with four first-team players.

According to a report from Football Insider, Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Cristian Romero are upset with the Australian manager because of his straight-talking nature in press conferences and the dressing room.

Postecoglou’s comments have reportedly triggered a negative reaction from the players in the dressing room, and it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds. The Australian manager is already under pressure after a mixed start of the season and he cannot afford to lose the dressing room now.

He has been backed significantly at the start of the season and he will be expected to guide Tottenham to UEFA Champions League qualification this season. Tottenham need to improve in order to finish in the top four, and they cannot hope to do so with a dressing room fall-out.

The manager and the players will have to iron out their differences in the coming weeks in order for the club to succeed on the pitch. It will be interesting to see how the Australian manager handles the situation.

Players like Vicario, Udogie and Romero have been very important for Tottenham and the manager simply cannot afford to upset them. Perhaps he will need to be more measured with his comments in press conferences and the dressing room.

The report states that Tottenham’s inconsistency on the pitch has provoked the Australian manager to be more blunt with his assessments and reactions this season. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can be more consistent in the coming weeks. There is no doubt that they have a talented squad and they should be fighting towards the top end of the table.
