“Devastating” “Absolute disgrace” Fan Reactions To Nuno Update Are Mixed

Nuno’s press conference sound bites are producing almost as much vitriol from supporters as the club’s own social media posts. You probably don’t need me to tell you that the mood is generally speaking quite ugly. The number of responses that are protected with Twitter warnings about replies that may (and definitely do) contains offensive content feels to be on the rise.

The gaffer has a full complement of players ahead of this evening’s cup clash at Turf Moor, bar just the one absentee, Ryan Sessegnon. Sessegnon has been somewhat a mystery item in the bagging area as far as Tottenham’s purchases have been concerned.

Tottenham bought the boy from Fulham in 2019 for a not inconsiderable £25million, but since then, the now 21-year-old has managed just 6 first team appearances for Spurs, in all competitions.

Spurs then loaned the lad to Hoffenheim during the 2020/2021 season, where Ryan managed to string together 23 Bundesliga starts.

Dogged by intermittent injury, Sessegnon is still unavailable, and most fans are wondering what the actual strategy is?

Not sure Jose is exactly sitting pretty, he’s just about meeting expectations in Rome right now.

I’m afraid the ‘blame it on the guy in the tracksuit’ thing is well are well and truly over under Levy. He’s been blaming it on the coaches forever and a day, after countless sackings we have one League Cup to show for it in 23 years.

You need to shift your focus elsewhere mate. We

The problem is not ENIC, everyone talks about ENIC. They are merely the vehicle of the real problem. Mr Levy, is just a follower and believer to the guru that is Joe Lewis.
Do not be fooled that the real decision maker is a 30% stake holder in a subsiduary.
The only name that counts in the hijacking of our club, is Tavistock, and the man behind it Joe Lewis.
If people want to take meaningful action, don’t waste your time with ENIC, go for Tavistock.
When their name gets properly dragged into this mess, someone will sit up a take notice.
As Harry Hotspur says, standing around with bedsheets saying ENIC out means nothing, may be standing around with bedsheet saying Tavistock out, might start to get a few eye brows raised.

We’ve been waiting over 2 years for him to join us. Another famous £25m punt by Daniel.

Seasoned veteran – Redknapp ☑
Young Visionary – Poch ☑
Proven winner – Jose ☑

You name it, we’ve tried it. When will the ENIC loyalists wake up and smell the coffee

we had poch and some of these wastrels turned on him. Mourinho, currently sitting pretty again, “failed”. As Stu says, the problems goes far deeper

If you believe this is a coach/manager problem then you are missing the point completely

if City lost Guardiola would they remain the team they are ?
I would say – definitely no ……
If Klopp left Liverpool would it be easy to move on and /or retain their current status – I believe not …
Have United ever recovered from Ferguson’s departure ?
Or Arsenal and Wenger ?
This cannot be just coincidence can it ?
A manager/ chief coach is the heart , the soul , the leader .
Sadly Espirito Santo is just not what Spurs require .
He is undoubtedly a good man , he says words we want to hear but they dont ring true . We need a Tyrant , a philosopher , a teacher , an artist , someone at the TOP of this game , a Master of football. It may not be Pochettino , but I’m pretty sure he’s the closest we’ve come to in terms of having the respect of all other managers and more importantly , the PLAYERS.
Reinstate him , or get someone of similar stature , we will have to pay now for sure , but Spurs need action now , whilst still relevant. OUR TIME IS NOW ……………….

Ryan Sessegnon another pillar in Levy’s crumbling temple of incompetence.

That’s an insult to Lamela who we could do with right now.

Payment structures are the only thing levy knows how to negotiate.

Said it before but something not right with this guy, it’s more than physical injuries, he’s taken over from Lamela.

That’s why they do deals on stage payments and add ons to get them out before anyone twigs that they’re not actually as good as billed. I doubt we’ve actually paid Lyon €63m for Tangy or ever will…

After a year of no signings Poch got LoCelso, Tanguy and Ryan, all unproven in the league, two years later none of them have been able to cement their place. He also lost Jan and Loriente, neither were replaced. We didn’t get a defensive midfielder until PEH arrived a year later etc etc.

The club’s transfer ‘policy’ has been atrocious and particularly bad since Pochettino left. That’s why we signed nobody for a year, he refused to take on more of the mediocre dross Levy was trying to ship in.

Clinton Cards, NoCludo… “no thanks”.

We buy expensive tat that no other club wants. They arrive injured/unfit then either continue that way or become emotionally damaged in some form or other

It’s all just become white noise now.

Ryan is the ultimate jam-tomorrow signing, won’t be fully at it for at least another 18 months (if ever). We signed him two years ago… 🤔
