Dele Alli makes personal transfer request to Tottenham

By Bruce Grove -

Dele Alli has pleaded with Tottenham not to block his loan move away from the club this month as he seeks to get his career back on track, according to 90Mins.

The midfielder has lost his place in the Tottenham first team and wants a January move to PSG, where he can see more football.

The Frenchmen wanted to sign him in the summer, but Spurs managed to keep hold of him.

This month offers them another chance to get the deal over the line and the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as their latest manager, should help their bid.

The report says Jose Mourinho is happy to let Alli leave for the Ligue 1 side, however, the move is being held up by the preferences of both teams.

PSG wants him to join them on a longer-term loan and with the option to sign him at the end of its tenure.

Daniel Levy believes that Alli still has a bright future at Spurs and wants him to only move there for the next six months, with no buy option.

With all parties keen to get the deal done, PSG has told Tottenham that they don’t want to wait until the end of the transfer window to sign the midfielder.
