Daniel Levy set to step back from his role following major changes behind the scenes

By Mehdi Gokal -

Daniel Levy is set to undergo a change in his role at the club according to Daily Express.

The club has been undergoing a lot of positive change recently.

The hiring of Ange Postecoglou has been a masterstroke from Levy. He was not the most popular option but has very quickly become a popular figure at the club.

His instant impact has been evident with him managing to lift up the mood around the club. There is a lot of positivity at the club since his arrival with the club now having an identity of their own and playing attractive football again.

They are currently top of the league with 8 games played and are the only unbeaten side in the Premier League alongside Arsenal.

There have been other changes behind the scenes as well. The club has hired Scott Munn as the Chief Football Officer earlier this year with his role starting in September.

They have also appointed Johan Lange as the new sporting director who is set to work under Munn and will be in charge of the recruitment, analytics and talent identification across the club, both academy level and senior level.

Meanwhile the report claims that Fabio Paratici continues to work as a consultant at the club.

With all of these personnel working in their new capacity, it is said that Levy is set to take a step back from footballing matters and will be hoping to sit back and let Munn, Lange, Ange and co flourish in their roles.
