Daniel Levy on his way to the Middle East this weekend after Tottenham deal agreed

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur recently secured a tie-up with Formula 1 when they signed a 15-year deal earlier this week.

The agreement will see Tottenham install an electric karting facility and London’s longest indoor track in their stadium.

It seems that the club chairman Daniel Levy is now flying out to attend the Bahrain Grand Prix as a part of the deal.

According to Football Insider, the partnership between the Premier League club and Formula 1 will result in a new driver Academy and a career development program which will be launched in the autumn.

The necessary infrastructure will have to be put in place now and the lucrative financial agreement will end up boosting Tottenham’s coffers.

Daniel Levy and commercial star Todd Kline have done well to improve the club’s revenues and it remains to be seen whether these agreements can help the London club compete with the best clubs in terms of transfers.

Tottenham will need better players in order to compete with clubs like Manchester City and it will be interesting to see if they can strengthen their squad adequately in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Premier League outfit will have to showcase their ambition in the transfer market if they want to hold on to their best players and their manager. The likes of Harry Kane and Antonio Conte have been heavily linked with moves away from Tottenham at the end of the season.
