Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is actively working on bringing back former sporting director Fabio Paratici, with discussions already underway regarding his potential return to North London.
Paratici initially joined Spurs in 2021 as the club’s managing director of football, playing a key role in reshaping the squad.
His tenure saw the arrival of key signings such as Cristian Romero, Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, who have been instrumental for the club in recent years.
However, his time at Tottenham was cut short in 2023 after being implicated in financial misconduct during his tenure at Juventus.
Following an investigation, Paratici was handed a 30-month ban by the Italian Football Federation, a suspension later extended globally by FIFA.
Despite his official departure, Levy continued to utilise Paratici’s expertise through unofficial consultancy roles, which the ban did not prohibit.
The Italian was frequently spotted at Spurs matches, often seen in corporate boxes at the stadium. Now that his suspension has been lifted, Paratici is free to take up an official role once again.
Italian giants AC Milan are reportedly keen on securing his services, adding competition to Tottenham’s pursuit.
Daniel Levy working on brining Fabio Paratici back to Tottenham

According to Italian outlet Radio Rossoneri, club chairman Daniel Levy and Paratici ‘had a meeting on Thursday’ to discuss the possibility of the Italian returning to Spurs.
The report further claims that the North London club is ‘ready to make a rich offer’ but they have set a tight deadline for his response.
Paratici’s potential return comes at a time when Tottenham are facing issues both on and off the pitch. The club has been knocked out of all domestic competitions and are currently sitting 14th in the table.
Vice-captain Cristian Romero is reportedly unhappy with the club’s current state, and has recently had a go at the club hierarchy as well. He has also been left ‘deeply upset’ by the way his injury was managed.
The Argentine defender has attracted strong interest from Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, raising concerns about his future at the club. There is high chance he could be on his way out in the summer.
With pressure mounting on manager Ange Postecoglou, appointing Paratici could be the first step towards a big summer which could see Spurs change their manager as well as bring in new players across several positions.
