The discontent among fans is building, but to a point where it has become white noise. Thomas Frank isn’t making us happy, so let’s sack some sense in to him. A wonderful linear way of viewing a problem.
Truth be told, this disastrous run has been on the cards for years. We have consistently sold our best players and replaced them with downgrades. Much of the noise from the press and the fans has descended into bleating about not being happy.
Perhaps, just perhaps, we need to take into account the consistently poor spending and the consistently bad goalkeeping in particular.
We have a group of players who are upset when their mediocrity is criticised. Perhaps we could look to recruit soldiers opposed to navel-gazing losers?
