The reporting of Daniel Levy’s hunt for a new manager leaves a lot to the imagination, with new names being added virtually every 24 hours. Our preseason training is something that was on the horizon when José Mourinho was sacked, but now it’s only a few weeks away.
Quite what Harry Kane must think of the entire situation is anyone’s guess, one can only imagine the class of conversations going on within the England camp’s players – a top-flight side seemingly incapable of finding anyone to manage them.
Love a good dose of a Daily Briefing
If Southgate is sacked Levy will rake him. If not then he will keep Mason. The Horror. The Horror.
Pink Panther, Harry? Presumably Levy is the hapless Clouseau?! And, yes, I recall, when he was manager at Liverpool, Benitez dismissing Everton as a small club.
Can’t understand the odds list when Conte, the Sevilla fella and Ten Haag have all said NO. Why are they on there? They ain’t coming.
I’d you believed everything you read online, we’d have 15 managers in place today – al reports say that Mr Stupid will be announced within the next few days it it never materialises & the next day the same is said about someone else. There are people we (the majority anyway), wouldn’t mind but there are people we all don’t want. Mancini – probably a yes but Gerrard, definitely a no but I think this is just lazy journalism.
I think it’s “a seemingly top flight side” actually! Cos we sure as sheet ain’t acting like a top side.
