Club ‘would like to sell’ Argentine attacker for just €20-25m to Tottenham in January

By Saikat -

Juventus winger Matias Soule has been linked with a move away from the club and the Italian outfit would be open to selling him in the coming weeks.

According to journalist Fabio Santini via TV Play, Juventus ‘would like to sell’ the 20-year-old attacker for a fee of just €20-€25 million in January to Tottenham or Crystal Palace.

“ Juve is working hard on two important profiles in midfield. It had already come very close to Koopmeiners in June with an offer of 40 million and in January it could reach up to 45 million with the sales of Iling Jr and Yildiz. They would like to sell Soulé for 20-25 million to Crystal Palace or Tottenham.”

The Argentine is naturally a winger but he can operate as the centre forward as well. The player is currently on loan at Italian club Frosinone and he has six goals to his name across all competitions. He could prove to be a quality, long-term acquisition for Tottenham and he would add goals and creativity to the side.

The opportunity to move to the Premier League could be an attractive option for the player and Spurs are certainly one of the biggest clubs around. They could help him develop further with ample game time in the Premier League.

A move to England could accelerate his development and working under a manager like Ange Postecoglou could get the best out of him. The Australian has an attacking philosophy and the 20-year-old could thrive in his system. His versatility will be an added bonus for Spurs if they can get the deal done.

The reported asking price seems quite reasonable for a player with his potential and he could easily justify the investment in the coming seasons. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are prepared to take up the opportunity and sign the player in January.
