Tottenham fans have asked to see Bryan Gil play more often after his Man of the Match performance in their 2-2 draw and eventual penalty shootout win over Wolves in the Carabao Cup.
The young Spaniard joined them from Sevilla in the last transfer window, with Erik Lamela going the other way.
Gil is one of the top Spanish talents at the moment and he will play for the Lilywhites for years to come.
He hasn’t fully broken into their first team yet and has had to be content with roles off the bench.
However, on his return to his former club, Wolves, Nuno Espirito Santo started Gil in the Carabao Cup game.
The Spaniard was in impressive form as Tottenham reached the next round of the competition via penalties.
Gil was awarded the Man of the Match award for his performance and Tottenham hailed him for the achievement on their Twitter account.
