A journalist for Tuttosport among many, Simone Rovera, believes that Pochettino is playing a little game with the press and that the Argentine is merrily riding on the coattails of recent stories linking him with a return to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
To date, all the credible reports surrounding the trumpeted return of the former coach that never won anything more than a semi-final has suggested that Paris Saint Germain has zero interest in being made to look like fools.
A club that cannot retain the services of its manager after 6 months would be seen by normal people as a foolish club.
In today’s Daily Briefing, I make a case for Tuchel returning to PSG having more substance to it than this, after all, he’s just won a Champions League at the first time of asking after he left his last club, eh?
I’ll say it again. Poch’s return would be a retrograde step for both parties – and if the Argentinians are making merry – that’s none of my business. My business is the box being shaken at Spurs and meaningful improvement being achieved.

There is one aspect of any potential return of Poch that has gone largely unnoticed. He would certainly need copper bottomed assurances that the cancerous elements in the dressing room would be shown the door forthwith, not least to generate funds for replacements. But how could that part of any agreement ever be enforced? Poch has seen how Levy works and how he will demand unrealistic prices for those same individuals and drag their exit out until late in the window, assuming that they leave at all. For that reason alone he would be a fool to come back while Levy is still around as it will all end in tears. Smells like season ticket bait to me.
90% of my thought process (the rational part) thinks Poch will be st PSG next season. However, Levy is well versed in the dark arts and doing things his own strange way. With Levy I would rule nothing out.
