“Bleeding us dry” “Sol Campbell levels of disdain” so many fans writhing in Spurs agony

By The Boy -

The mood in the Tottenham camp wasn’t great to begin with; fans are fickle, judgemental beasts, no matter how they loudly they might deny the charge.

Whilst Mourinho shipped in overdue recruits, such as Doherty and Højbjerg, the whole business of failing to cut loose time-expired players such as Lamela, Rose and Foyth, plus failing to get a striker deal done is beyond frustrating. Add to this a verified bore fest of performance against Everton, and we have an unhappy fanbase.

Levy & Co., have yet again failed to get Tottenham ready for the season start, and the excuses about the transfer market being difficult, and our chief scout ‘hating’ it, has created a toxic atmosphere.

Daniel Levy ” Tottenham, when I took over, was a smaller club than it is now” 🙈 He is a narcissist.

Watched the last three episodes of Nothing last night. I was absolutely horrified by the bunch of muppets running the club. Could you see any publicly listed company appointing the likes of Donna Marie Cullen or Steve Hitchen to the board, never mind Levy.

It was interesting to see that the furlough fiasco didn’t make the final cut. I was looking forward to seeing Daniel squirm his way out of that.

Levy is clueless about running a football club. It’s one poor decision after another. The transfer strategy is shambolic and the same really goes for the overall strategy; there doesn’t seem to be one. Hence him bringing in Mourinho in a panic at premium price. It was never going to work and now we are probably stuck with him. We can bring in a new striker but it won’t change anything, there is no discernible direction apparent with the team, evidenced by that performance on Sunday (and many times last season). Levy and Enic are the problem and while they remain at the club, this will just continue.

Where did Leeds get their players , lower leagues, maybe local lads. ENIC wont buy big. So a good scouting system also required to look for talent. Nobody took a punt on Lee Trundle because he was a bit large. But a move to Spurs would have got him fit. Bould , Dixon for Arse from Stoke , G Roberts from Weymouth & on it goes. Oh & Dele

Having seen the Liverpool v Leeds game I think Leeds are going to be a right handful. A team of youngsters all playing as a team with great pace, aggression and belief. Exactly the opposite of the special needs one’s team.

I know they don’t tell the whole story, but Lo Celso’s stats would suggest not.Plus he is becoming as injury prone as Lamela, not good news.

As Harry Kane proved against Everton it won’t matter which striker we buy or play if he gets no service he’s not going to make the difference. We needed a right back and got Doherty,we needed a dmf and got Hojbjerg but there has been more of a cry for a back up striker or an upgrade for Davies than a replacement for Eriksen. When Poch left Eriksen out last season because he wanted a transfer, more times than enough he was called from the bench to try and rescue a result. I haven’t seen enough in LoCelso to think that he is the answer to either supply the goals or assists, this season that Eriksen did for years.

TBF I am still in shock at the Everton m/f
Allan was better than Hojbjerg
Doucore was better than Ali
And the biggest shock of all – Ha-mes was better than Harry Winks

but saying that it doesn’t stop our CBs defending
JM says Dire is the only player with winning mentality but have a look at the photo of him trying to get near CL for the header. He looks like a girl whose brother has just taken her favourite dolly.

How much would you bet that there won’t be any glory for 30 years?

According to Football Insider we are prepared to offer Milik 90K/week plus 5M signing on fee. That should please some of our longer serving players on less money.Levy and Hitchens are clueless.Young and hungry is what we need, not somebody who will go through the motions.

Our problem is the spine of the team is still poch. We have to change them players. I’m sure Jose knows this. I’ll say it for the millionth time. “The vast majority of players from pochs reign won’t be here when the glory begins.

Fans not being allowed in stadiums works two ways for ENIC

1/ Hits them where they hate it most. Their deep pockets.

2/ The bit they love most is they don’t have us fans giving them stick from the stands.

ENIC OUT !
