Ben Davies or Roberto Carlos I still don’t know pic.twitter.com/vW3YlrOPlZ

There’s certainly something about playing Arsenal that perks Tottenham up. Ben Davies blew a few cobs away last night with this absolute rocket of a strike, that for a few inches would have been a goal of the season contender.
Davies hit a successful passing accuracy of 88%, with total successful actions at 66%.
Ben’s long passing was also much improved. He normally averages 47.1%, against Arsenal his success rate hit 60%.
Davies’ also broke his interception average, intercepting the ball 9 times, opposed to the mean average of 4.89 times.
He is good enough for a squad player. He is good at defending. But going forward man he can’t cross, passes in the sideways and backwards club, he can’t shoot 99 times out of 100 he misses the target.. When you got a class left back like jordi alba, or alexi sandro, or robertson they have pace, can cross for kane, and are also a threat on goal themselves…. Losing kyle walker weakened us immensely. Many won’t agree with this but losing danny rose has weakened us even more.
Yeah, I thought he struggled in the first half yesterday. Arsenal had acres of space down the left which nearly cost us a few times. I’ve always liked Davies though. Underrated player.
Gets a bit of stick on here , which is undeserved, he’s not perfect ,but he rarely lets his club down. Always seems to have to cover two opposing players when defending, yesterday first half showed that , Moura tracked back to help in the second which made the difference.
He’s got a hammer on him. Hits’em sweet
