The Ivorian was culpable for Chelsea’s first goal in last weekend’s 2-0 defeat, and has been at it again at Norwich City this evening.
He did not have fortune on his side at Carrow Road, as he was slightly unsighted for this clumsy own goal which restored Norwich’s lead, soon after Christian Eriksen had levelled the scores at 1-1.

Aurier is not solely to blame here. There are a series of defensive errors which contribute – look at the size of the gaps between the back four. I thought Jose Mourinho was supposed to tighten us up defensively?
But he is the main event – the Hulk Hogan, if you will. But instead of the Atomic Leg Drop, Aurier’s finish was the ‘Bobble off the Leg.’
1…2…3…and that’s just counting his mistakes in the last week.
This defending is the culmination of Levy’s genius. Sell Walker, do not replace, sell Trippier, do not replace, buy unproven but cheap Foyth with potential sell on value, buy Sess ditto and buy 2 PSG fails for less than PSG paid for them so it must be a bargain.
Then extend 30yo Toby for 4 years and have Dier ready to stuff up in midfield or defence. If the Special One can solve the Levy sleight of hand dilemma then he is worth his salary, let alone win anything before he is sacked.
Aurier has to go, we can’t afford to keep him, he’s cost us so many points already this season. If we don’t get a decent right back we can forget about top 4. While we’re at it get rid of Dier too.
The Prem is looking ridiculous; the leaders are 22 points ahead of us with two games in hand and it’s not new year yet.
