Attacker linked with a move to Spurs starts learning English indicating his interest in joining the Premier League club

Besiktas attacker Semih Kilicsoy has recently emerged as a target for Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports from Turkish outlet A Spor.

Spurs have reportedly dispatched scouts to Istanbul to closely monitor the young striker’s performances.

However, Tottenham are not the only club interested in securing Kilicsoy’s signature, as German club Borussia Dortmund are also keen on signing the talented player.

The latest update from Turkish outlet Türkiye Gazetesi indicates that both clubs are actively vying for the teenager’s services.

Kilicsoy’s exceptional form in the Super Lig has caught the attention of clubs across Europe, with the young forward tallying eight goals and one assist in just 13 appearances.

While Besiktas reportedly values Kilicsoy at €50 million, it remains doubtful whether any club would be willing to meet such a high price tag.

Despite recently extending his contract until 2028, the 18-year-old’s future at Besiktas is uncertain. Feyyaz Uçar, a board member, revealed that keeping the talent in Turkey might be difficult due to high foreign interest.

Moreover, reports from Fanatik suggest that Kilicsoy has been undertaking English classes with a private tutor, indicating a potential inclination towards a move to England.

Tottenham’s interest in Kilicsoy signals their ongoing pursuit of young talent, following the recent signing of Swedish sensation Lucas Bergvall on the deadline day last month.

They also signed highly-rated youngster Ashley Phillips and Argentinean talent Alejo Veliz in the summer window.
