Tottenham are apparently looking at Arsenal stalwart Steve Morrow to succeed John McDermott as Head of Academy Coaching and Player Development, according to a report in The Mirror.
McDermott is ending his 15-year association with Spurs in June to take up a position of Assistant Technical Director with the FA.

The Mirror understands that former Arsenal midfielder Morrow is one of several names being lined up as the next sensei of the Spurs kids. The 49-year-old left the enemy last year having helped bring through the likes of Bukayo Saka, Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah.
McDermott obviously had a fine resume himself at Spurs, but his most famous graduates are Harry Kane, Danny Rose and Harry Winks, some years ago. When it was announced that he would be leaving, the question among fans was ‘well, what have you done for me lately?’
If Morrow can produce another golden crop, his Arsenal ties are irrelevant.

I think you’ll find that we bought Danny Rose from Leeds.
