A special guest was at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday as Levy plans new long-term partnership

Tottenham came back from a goal down to win 3-1 against Palace, scoring thrice in 11 minutes.

Palace initially took the lead through Eberechi Eze’s stunning free-kick around the hour mark.

But Spurs left it late to turn the game around as they have so many times this season.

Timo Werner and Cristian Romero scored in a space of three minutes before Captain Heung-min Son secured all three points in the 88th minute.

Among the spectators at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was Bosse Andersson, the sporting director of Djurgarden IF, a prominent Swedish football club.

Daniel Levy, the chairman of Spurs, extended a special invitation to Andersson, hosting him as an esteemed guest for the London derby.

According to insights shared by the club’s correspondent Alasdair Gold via Football London, Andersson received VIP treatment, seizing the opportunity to capture memorable selfies alongside Levy and Tottenham captain Son.

Gold believes that Andersson is likely to make frequent trips to London as both Djurgardens and the Lilywhites are looking to establish a more formal partnership involving the exchange of young players and ideas.

Spurs recently reached an agreement in the winter transfer window with Djurgardens for their young midfield talent, Lucas Bergvall.

Tottenham secured the teenager’s signature on deadline day with a five-year contract for a reported transfer fee of €10 million.

Bergvall will remain at his current club until the end of the season before joining North London in July.

There has been incredible hype surrounding the midfield prodigy, with fans eagerly anticipating his arrival.

The latest presence of Djurgardens’ sporting director suggests Spurs’ plans revolve around investing in young talents around the globe.
