“You’ve let us down” These Spurs fans notice this one thing missing from Kane Tweets

Tottenham got back to winning ways against Burnley in the Carabao Cup last night and you would have expected the Tottenham fans to be a lot happier than they have been in recent weeks, however, that is not the case, certainly not with Harry Kane.

The England captain took to Twitter to applaud the “brilliant” away fans and to talk up Spurs being in the hat for the quarter-finals of the competition and to say there was a mix of responses would be an understatement.

There was the usual negative stuff and also some positive responses, however, one thing did stand out for some of the fans and that was Kane leaving out the abbreviation COYS from his tweet.

Whether this is intentional or not is unknown but to a number of fans, it is sending a message of sorts and while it may seem a minor thing to some, to others it carries a significant meaning.

Here are some of the tweets that noticed the omission,

Depression affects everyone differently guys. Kane also had huge pressure and stress with the euros.. He’ll be back on it no worries….. Remember the two times Rooney wanted to leave United for City… Sir Alex said no chance both times transfer request rejected..

i rate James too and he’s a much better defender than TAA.The way England play doesn’get the best out of TAA anyway.

I also don’t understand why Reece James who is excellent at crossing the ball isnt instructed to do so when playing for England… our national team is built around Raheem Sterling who is so good Guardiola this season often starts him on the bench… sterling at the highest level isnt good enough maybe Guardiola has finally realised that, you can only hope Southgate does too…

He’s lost his Mojo and probably his faith in humanity too, Levy has that effect on anyone.

Having watched Kane’s two shots from last night on H’s Youtube video you have to say he’s not himself.Snatching at shots he would normally bury.

Thanks for the memories Harry.

You’re absolutely spot on about Sterling. He is selfish and hardly ever passes to Kane and if he does it’s usually a pass that is off target. It seems since he has been made into a saint over his BLM stance he can do no wrong. He’s average at best.

I agree that Kane’s value will diminish by at least 50 million by next off-season, possibly as much as 70 million, yes.

I said at the time Kane should have been sold… his issues for England are in large part due to the selfishness of Sterling who as it seems his undroppable…I may be alone in thinking he is probably the most selfish, poor decision maker in the final 3rd who has played so many games for England… It will take Levy a good few NFL games/events to compensate for the loss in Kanes value which could easily be 60-70 million over 12 months…. ouch.

Agree with everything you say. We’re run by a delusional narcissist prize plum who will take the club into new depths of dispair and failure.

Harry’s performances this season have been lacklustre in the extreme, just as I predicted. Which merely highlights the egregious error made by our diminutive ‘gruppenfuhrer’ in forcing him to stay! The truth is Harry looked knackered by the end of last season and was pretty ineffectual in the group stages of the Euros, he had one decent game in the knock-out stages and then failed to turn up for the final, not for the first time.

With his injury history, lack of proper respite after the Euros and with the upcoming World Cup next off-season, plus Levy’s total failure to replace Bale or even Vinicius, it was entirely predictable Kane would suffer a decline physically. Now throw in Levy’s refusal to allow him to leave and you add the psychological impact of being forced to continue play for a club that mentally he had already departed.

The result is a Levy induced ‘f*ck up’ of monumental proportions. Levy could have negotiated Kane’s departure early in the off-season with City and would have received at least 130 mill GBP in return, enough to have added 3 top class players to the squad, on top of the other off-season additions. Now all you have is a physically declining, rapidly depreciating in value, under-performing ‘star player’, who doesn’t want to be here.
