Tottenham is interested in bringing back Noni Madueke after he established himself at PSV.
The former Tottenham youth team player has been one of the best young players in the Netherlands since he broke into the PSV first team.
Standard Sports reports that Tottenham is now turning its attention towards creative players after they reached an agreement to sign Cristian Romero.
Among their targets are Mikkel Damsgaard and Madueke.
Damsgaard shone at Euro 2020 while Madueke has built a career for himself in the Netherlands.
He is now a regular starter for PSV and scored a stunner for them in their Champions League qualifier against FC Midtjylland yesterday.
Madueke is still just 19 and he is well on his way to reaching the heights expected of him when he was at the Tottenham academy.
PSV has just sold Donyell Malen to Borussia Dortmund and the report claims that the move has seen Madueke’s transfer value increase.
It didn’t disclose how much it would cost Tottenham to bring him back, but he is currently valued at €16.00m by Transfermarkt.
Nuno Espirito Santo has shown the willingness to give first-team chances to youngsters for much of his managerial career and that should convince Madueke that he will get playing opportunities if he returns to north London.

This squad has been neglected so much by the little bald muppet that it’s going to be hard to get anywhere near our previous level without spending a fortune.
Gonna be fun watching Moura run rings around those Championship players next season.
You think baldy c**t will do that??? I really hope so!! In reality I fear that Paratici will be forced into looking at the likes of Abraham, Bamford, some fella who scored 20 goals for Crotone or a “promising 19 1/2 year old who has provided 2 assists for Racing Scrotum in Ligue 2 last season”!!
If we do sell Kane we can spend a little more and get someone noot so resolutely ‘mid table Prem striker’
Yup
Ings would have been a great option IMO, and at £25 mill more than reasonable enough. C**ty Bald B@stard would never pay that though cos he’s 29!
Exactly. I thought Skipp-PEH would be the base of the midfield three with one of the three inconsistent amigos in front of them.
We will need one hell of a solid base if we’re forcing Romero to play with Finger-Pointin’ Dier and possibly Doherty.
Someone who plays in front of the CB’s please.
Feel It’s Skipp or PEH then who plays as we are short there unless dier goes in.
Or Rodon not given a run ( though in the squad I guess)
No, but can I interest you in a European C team competition?
This would be acceptable in a league game – we happened to perform poorly and got a smash-and-grab point, fair enough. In pre-season, I expect to see a plan, something our players have focused on in training. A clear system.
Instead, we didn’t get a sniff until they took off Kanté – which is a courtesy I doubt they will show us in the league. No shots in the first half is horrible, and we only entered their half three or four times. There were bright spots, but most of them showed up after Chelsea made their changes.
Something needs to happen to our midfield because it was non-existent in the first 45. That is worrying, considering Skipp and Hojbjerg might be our starting lineup options with GLC/Ndom/Dele.
Ings to Villa, one striker option down who’s next? We lack that upfront player even if it’s a friendly. Sonny either has a bad spell or injured well we’ve seen what happens then.
Ndombelly ??
Is there a PL B team competition we can join..
Sombre.
As long as other teams make 9 changes having dominated us, we’re good to go.
7 new 50m pound players and we are good to go…
😁…wonder what next years kit will look like 🙃
Just waiting for the Season to be over to be honest. 🤔
Good counter from a mistake…Chelsea did make 6 sub though….
No, no, no, you’re supposed to be mad at him for leaving the sunken ship and pursuing his dreams, while claiming we can do without him!
Son will badly miss Kanes passing as well…double whammy – ohh, and a penalty taker….and clearing corners….fukc me
So next season with no Kane we have to rely on Moura, and Dier now our best CB has been sold…..please tell me the new guy is on the boat with no reverse button…
ONLY 6 changes for the chavs !
😆 my grasp on the subtle has been made slippery by my witnessing of the unfortunate obvious.
So undeserved that it’s difficult to feel any joy. A complete fluke.
Honestly, what the hell was Dele doing?
Dele loses ball..Moura gets a rebound…2-1 lucky goal..
Send Dele back to MK Don’s, full circle..
Absolutely shocking…. I know its only preseason but the desire isn’t there at all. They should have come out fighting with the week we have had as supporters. Tough to watch this type of decline in a club I love😔
This could get embarrassing….ly…worse…
Shocking.
Omg the space Chelsea have in our box
There’s a bit of added sting listening to the Chelsea commentators.
“This might be a fun season”
“It’s difficult to imagine Spurs being just this bad during the season”
Boy, you have no idea.
He suffers chronic pain still I heard (and from Spain..not a mention when he was here)) but at least he had cojones and tried.
Yup. I’ve seen training cones do better.
😁👍
That is the joke 😂
2-0, terrible marking
That can’t be true..he wouldn’t be on till the last 20mins
Tried to buy Jimmy back. Yeah Bobby Smith played a few games in the title winning season.
On for PEH. As if things didn’t look ‘dier’ enough…
Erm, José doesn’t work here anymore.
Smith. Allen, Venables & Greaves(via Milan)
I’m missing Lamela already.
Winks 😩
No, Harry wants the fcuk out of a team that’s been destabilised for a long time.
😜👍😁
We’re in a world of trouble. A whooooole world of pain.
Is the technical term for that display, ‘stinking the joint out’?
It is going to be along cold season going by what I have seen so far. No cohesion, loose passes, back four either passing to each other or hoofing long balls. poor old Son should stay right out of midfield as he has lost the ball every time.. Bergwjin has scored his annual goal already so another 12/12 for the next while Moura runs and runs and runs and runs….*groans
Jam substitute, haha. Reminds me of that Fawlty Towers episode – Veal substitute.
It’s Harry Kane’s fault. He has destabilised the team.
Jam substitutes are available. No fruit mind or sugar.
Won the title in 1955.
Harry Kane, unsettled the whole team with his unprofessional behaviour. I think Harry is a good scapegoat.
In the 1950s and 1960s Chelsea were virtually our feeder club, i kid you not
Sad but True re upcoming season. Anyone who thinks we’re going to challenge for anything is sadly mistaken. There is no jam. Levy threw the used jar out with White Hart Lane.
No rush, I will check back after the 2nd half, provided I won’t have hanged myself by then.
Give me time now, I think I can work it out.
Not going to bother to watch the second half. Goodnight .
Not only unfit but look bored and just can’t be bothered.
Jose should really focus on the squad’s fitness moving forward.
The tragedy is real, my friend
I wonder who the media will blame now that mourinho is no longer there punch back.
This is just a bit sad, really. We used to be rivals with this team – I suppose now Palace are more our speed.
Shocking first half. Very few look fit, and we are in for a bloody awful season…
Wow, that was awful….
Nope.
Have we had a shot yet?
It’s progress! I pity teams like City who want to win “now”.
Honestly don’t think Son has touched the ball more than 3 times..
After watching this game Kane would be dying to come back….he must be kicking himself that he’s not playing after watching all the beautiful attacking football spurs are playing. Truly Tottenham D N A.
Don’t Panic. Jam Tomorrow people.
Plus i have bought a Golf Course, what do you people want me to do with your money.
Ungrateful Peasants.
New manager same football…Moura running into a wall of Chelsea players with no team mate in sight…..does Levy manage the team, we look the same as we did two years ago…
yep, back to being a mid table team with1b of debt to pay off….remind me again who benefits from any of this?
You don’t like the Spurs DNA of being unfit and waiting for the other team to slaughter us?
The goal is everything Dier…….points, backs off, Ziyech runs to the edge of the box , shoots and scores.
It’s ok, Nuno has said he is going to make the fans “so proud, so so proud”…….probably referring to free ketchup sachets in the bar…
Much more of this is to be expected if we don’t up our transfer game very soon – City, United, Chelsea, Liverpool have players that are far superior on the ball, so we just don’t get near it.
I’m worried that Leicester, Leeds (due to their team play) West Ham and Villa will soon be in the same category, leaving us to slug it out for 9th.
Chelsea commentators saying “Dele just doesn’t look fit”. And again, there was a great run by Reg and Dele’s pass just lacked conviction. Can’t help but remember Jose and the Amazon doc – he was pointing out exactly the same thing to Dele.
“If you hit the pass, boom, he’s gone.”
Bring on Dele!
No attacking mids in our team, and no striker/s….so cheesed off already..
If we were supposed to learn something today (unlike the games against subpar teams), we’ve learned that so far, nothing’s changed. Can’t keep the ball, no midfield, no shots, should have been 2-0 down if not for a farcical offside decision.
Chelsea are so far ahead in terms of quality on the ball that they’re making us look like a 3rd rate team. Which at least corresponds to the level of European competition we’ll be playing in – should we make it through the play-offs.
No press and no counter….not sure what Nuno is doing?
Free header, near goal…goal scored but offside…as for Spurs, can’t get out our own half…
1-0..no midfield, can’t keep the ball, can’t transition…we look terrible
Riddle me this:
One club fought for the title, built a brand new stadium (“best in the country”) and reached the CL final quite recently. The other avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth a year ago and is in the process of losing their best player.
One signed Gil and Gollini, the other signed Buendia, Bailey, and Ings. Which club signed whom?
Hahahaha

Sorry I’m busy watching Ice Station Zebra.
Can we watch the match tonight
Villa showing Levy how it’s done, players out and in with time til the start of season.
Levy is telling us that Pochettino is to blame for selling this former youth player Madueke , yeah right like Pochettino was buying and selling players blame the managers always the fall guys(Enic Levy basic policy) guess what if he wants to buy him back he will cost him minimum £14.4 mill can you imagine that?
