Generous Levy loses top spot as the best paid executive after taking 20% salary cut

Daniel Levy has lost the top spot as the highest-paid Premier League executive to Manchester United’s Ed Woodward, according to The Times.

Levy was the highest-paid executive for the 2018/2019 season when he made £7m, that includes a generous bonus of £3m for helping Tottenham move to a new stadium.

The report says that he made just £2.96m last season, and this is because he helped the club financially by taking a 20% pay cut.

Woodward, meanwhile, made £3.16m.

Levy has emerged as one of the best executives in recent seasons as he turned Tottenham into one of Europe’s top teams.

Under his watch, they have reached the Champions League in several seasons and they are arguably the biggest team in north London now, after several years in the shadows of Arsenal.

What is left is for them to start winning trophies and he has hired José Mourinho, one of the highest-rated managers in the world, to help them achieve that.

They have reached the final of the Carabao Cup and are in the race for three other trophies.

If they manage to win trophies this season, Levy will no doubt hope that he will get a few more bonuses that would see him beat Woodward again.

So what. He went for high end everything and got it done in the end. I rate the way he came in and realized we couldn’t compete at the old lane and did something about it.

Dock his pay until he’s made up for all the cost over-runs he causes on the stadium build….bald scumbag would be working for free for the rest of his pocket peeling, leeching little life.

‘Levy has emerged as one of the best executives in recent seasons as he turned Tottenham into one of Europe’s top teams’ I wonder how many Tottenham fans would agree?
