His performances have given Tottenham fans hope that they might end this campaign with a trophy after all.
The Lilywhites have been waiting since 2008 to earn another trophy and the appointment of Jose Mourinho is set to help them achieve that.
With 8 goals from 8 league games this season, Son has made one of the best possible starts that he can make to a campaign.
It is therefore now down to the club to keep the South Korean happy so that he can keep scoring the goals for them.
Reports from the Guardian is claiming that the Lilywhites are prepared to offer him a new deal until 2026.
The new contract will see him earn around £200,000-a-week, bringing him to the same wage bracket as the likes of Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele.
