Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano claims that Barcelona is considering a move for Tanguy Ndombele, but the Spaniards will not make their move for him until the end of this season.
The Frenchman has been one of the most improved players at Tottenham in the current campaign after he struggled in his maiden season at the club.
Ndombele joined Spurs from Lyon last summer, but last season was one to forget for him and the club.
He was in bad shape for much of the campaign and when Jose Mourinho was made the club’s manager, he lost his place in the team.
He is now back to form and he is one of the first names on the team sheet at the moment.
His fine form is now attracting the attention of Barcelona whom the report claims are looking to land him as an alternative to Liverpool’s Giorgino Wijnaldum.
Wijnaldum was Barcelona’s top target in the last transfer window, but the Catalans failed to get Liverpool to sell him and it seems that they have turned their attention to Ndombele now.
Spurs rejected moves for Ndombele in the summer even though he had a tough time last season, it is unlikely that they will want to lose him now that he is in top form.
