Gareth Bale endured a torrid time in his last few months as a player of Real Madrid.
The Welshman eventually secured a move back to Tottenham this summer after it became clear that he would not be playing as much as he wanted at Madrid.
He had an unenviable end to his time in the Spanish capital despite being one of the best players in his prime and helping them to win several trophies.
Despite the criticisms labelled on him by the Real Madrid fans, Casimero has come out in his defence again, after Luka Modric praised him a few weeks ago.
There had been rumours that the Welsh winger was always on his own in the club’s dressing room, but that has been dismissed by Casimero.
The Brazilian insisted that Bale got along well with his Real Madrid teammates in the dressing room.
He got along very well with everyone,’ Casemiro told Movistar Plus’ programme ‘Vamos’ as quoted by the Mail.
‘When he plays, if he’s focused, he’s one of the best in the world, top five without a doubt.
‘It’s a pleasure for me to have shared the dressing room with someone like him. I hope it goes well at this stage at Tottenham.
‘I thank you for the ‘chirlos’ [screamers] you scored in the finals. When I think of Gareth, I remember those good times.’

mucho mas chirlos
It’s ok, I’ve checked. Casemiro is a Brazilian.
