Tottenham have been linked with a move for Mainz 05 striker, Robin Quaison recently and it seems that the Lilywhites are serious about landing the Swede.
After netting 13 goals in the German top flight last season, he has emerged as a target for Spurs who need to sign a striker this season.
The Lilywhites have one of the best strikers in the world in the person of Harry Kane, however, when the striker has been unavailable, the Lilywhites have struggled and they are now looking to address that by signing a new striker.
Several strikers have been linked with that role, but Quaison might be the attacker that they finally land.
This is because reports in Germany via Football London claims that Tottenham has opened talks with Mainz over the transfer of the striker.
Jose Mourinho’s team will start their European adventure from the qualifying rounds, coupled with the different cup competitions and the Premier League, they face playing over 60 games in the coming season and signing a new striker that will help Kane get some rest is important to them.
Quaison has entered the final season of his current deal and he might be joining Spurs in a cut-price move.

What a difference a Jose makes.
I am certain that if Poch were still in charge Levy would be saying “well Mauricio at a push if Son is in Korea then big Joe could do the Llorente role”
As somebody wrote at the time they couldnt believe the media circus when JM joined.
