Danny Rose slipped up on BBC Radio 5 Live last night when he briefly forgot that he no longer plays for Tottenham.
In a typically revealing and interesting interview, the left-back, who has joined Newcastle United on loan used “we” when talking about Spurs’ upcoming fixtures, before quickly correcting himself.

Habits are hard to break and Spurs would have been “we” to the England defender in interviews for the best part of a decade.
