Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen appears to be edging closer to a move to Inter Milan, but that may not be the only transfer conducted between the two clubs this window.
Eriksen, Tottenham’s chief creator since 2013, has just half a year left on his contract and has been heavily linked with a transfer to the San Siro.
Italian publication CalcioMercato claims that Eriksen’s agent dined in Milan last night with Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta.
The purpose of the agent’s visit was to close the deal, according to CalcioMercato.
The same source reports that Spurs are keen on 28-year-old Inter midfielder Matias Vecino, who has featured in 14 Serie A games this season.
Vecino, Inter’s No.8, has 41 caps for Uruguay and has been a useful member of Antonio Conte’s squad, chipping in with two goals and two assists this term, including a strike against Dortmund in the Champions League.
However, the arrival of Eriksen could lessen his importance to Inter, possibly making them more inclined to part company.

😄😁
And possibly not even that guaranteed.
Maybe Eriksen’s agent simply likes Italian. Thought the deal was already done by the player, waiting on Levy?
How very unexciting he seems, we’re being offered anybody who can stand on two legs without assistance.
