Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Leicester City midfielder James Maddison in recent weeks.
The 26-year-old England international is expected to join a Premier League club this summer following Leicester’s relegation from the top flight.
Maddison has done quite well this past season scoring 10 goals and picking up 9 assists across all competitions.
He could prove to be a quality acquisition for most Premier League clubs and Danny Murphy believes that he should move to Tottenham. The former Premier League midfielder added that Maddison would be an excellent acquisition for Tottenham and he could develop into a club legend at the North London club.
It is no secret that Spurs need to bring in a quality playmaker this summer and Maddison could help create goal-scoring opportunities for the attackers at the club. Furthermore, the 26-year-old will chip in with goals from the middle of the park as well. In addition to that, he is exceptional with set pieces and he could add a new dimension to their attack.
Murphy also added that Tottenham should look to sign David Raya from Brentford as a potential replacement for Hugo Lloris. The 36-year-old has been quite poor this past season and he needs to be replaced soon.
Raya has proven himself to be a capable Premier League goalkeeper and he will be a quality acquisition for Tottenham.

On David Raya to Spurs, he said to Talksport: “Perfect. I think they are three or four players away from competing in the Champions League. Those two (Raya and Maddison) would be two really good additions. But defensively they have problems.”
