The Daily Star ran a piece recently that claimed Southampton will have to offload some of their better players due to the financial effects of the Coronavirus pandemic and one of the players subsequently linked with Tottenham was striker Danny Ings.
Ings never quite made a breakthrough when he was previously at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp, however, since he moved to Southampton he has been in prolific form and it is no surprise that he would be linked with some top clubs.
Tottenham fans have made their views clear of what they think of Ings joining the club and the vast majority of opinions expressed on social media appear to be very positive.
Buy Ings. He'd be the perfect lower budget back up.

Getting Ings and Hojberg plugs two big holes. CDM and backup CF. Would be very good business.

I’d take Ings all day

Ings is a top talent, he is 27-year-old and almost at his peak, he has found the back of the net 15 times in 29 Premier League games this season and when you consider the position Southampton are in, that is impressive.
It is hard to disagree with what Spurs fans are saying about the prospect of Ings signing for us.
I’d take ings.
Old problem, will he sign to sit on the bench? Though he would get a chance when Harry has his now annual season ending injury.
