Levy is both unable to employ the right staff or to delegate which constantly holds us back and is an endemic character weakness of his. The club needs to change the way it is run to progress.

The chairman underwrites a wages policy that represented 84% of the club’s turnover in the 2018-2019 season which gives their negotiations flexibility. His wealth also allows for some transfers to be paid up front in full which many rivals are unable to match. I have written before how well run this club is and this article does nothing to dispel this view.
