It’s half past three as I begin to type this and there was a mumble (Spurs fans are really good at mumbling) about a stadium announcement today.
The only news so far is that we’ve broken another utterly meaningless ‘record’.
The club site has made the grand announcement that we’ve just played 20 games without a draw.
Was this it?
Beaten yes, drawn – no.
This is another piece of utterly worthless propaganda from a ‘business’ that is too busy flogging £30 tours of a stadium that isn’t fit to open its doors yet because they are still reeling from the massive shambles they made by installing cheapjack/non compliant audio equipment.
One trophy in nigh on 2 decades and we are still be fed on fodder and in conditions that would better suited to growing mushrooms.
The patience of supporters is slowly but surely evaporating as the last drops of goodwill are squeezed out day after day.
No apologies, not even the threat of any compensation, just the presentation of more and opportunities for YOU to throw more cash at this mess of a project.
Well I do hope you’re all buckled up for what is being billed as a NASA approved resurgence of Spurs.

I read an article from one of the BT Sport pundits yesterday (I think it was Hargreaves ??) basically saying that we did not need to buy anyone in the January window as they would not get into our first 11… My first thought was ‘And so it begins’. Levy must have been on to him to start popping this stuff in everyone’s mind !!
We’ll never know why ‘Mitch’ walked but it was something to do with the board not relinquishing control of the ‘budget’ to an expert they didn’t trust…

‘Wrighty’ is way too familiar for an ex Gooner. He used to fully give us it and middle age might bring calmness and maturity but rivalries like that never fully go away.
However, like you say, begrudgingly I admit he’s one of the better pundits. He says it like it is, I generally agree with him. Merson however is utter garbage and Keown is full of it too, an irritating pseudo intellectual. It’s all an ex Woolwich conspiracy…

What purpose would it serve? We had Mitchell and his magic black box, and he saw very quickly it was all a charade, and got out quickly. What’s the use of scouts if you won’t actually buy anyone they find/recommend?

I got a chuckle out of this line in the last blog:

I enjoy Wrighty, probably my favorite MOTD pundit. But the rest of that list are rubbish, they may be successful in landing a gig and getting repeatedly hired (which is, I think, the appropriate metric when talking about “glass ceilings due to racism”), but they are terrible as pundits. Especially Rio, who sounds like he took way too many blows to the head over the years having started as a subpar intellect and ended up as a straight up potato.
Yeah best no draw record, what a season so far.
Though we are winning games in previous season we would have got a draw.

Well, nobody took a chance on a cheap Quintero, many negative comments about suggesting we took him…..anyone who naysayed have a little look at his performance and goal for River Plate in the Copa Libertadoras last night. All he needed was a bit of love and to get in shape. Another wasted opportunity…..but what do we need a quality option for eh?
Take the current 11/4, put the house on it because once the teamsheets are published you’ll be lucky to get even money Spurs, Beg, Borrow or Steal a few Grand and Lump On, wish I had taken the 13/2 earlier. Bet of the Season !
