Tottenham Hotspur signed the Israeli winger Manor Solomon during the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old was on loan at Fulham last season and he managed to impress with his performances, scoring five goals in the process.
Tottenham have decided to improve their attacking options with his arrival and the player seems to be making an immediate impact in the pre-season.
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Solomon has already won over his teammates with his performances in training and it will be interesting to see if he can hit the ground running in the Premier League as well.
He said to Football London: “He’s already fitting into the squad. He’s another one who is really exciting. He’s definitely won over his team-mates with his ability and what he’s doing in training. He’s an exciting young player and another one of that group. I’m sure he’ll be a big contributor this year.”
There is no doubt that the 24-year-old is well settled in the Premier League by now and he will look to establish himself as a key player for Tottenham.
Spurs were heavily dependent on Harry Kane for goals and creativity last season and the likes of Solomon will help share the creative burden with the England international.
The 24-year-old certainly has the technical attributes to thrive in English football and the free-flowing attacking system of Ange Postecoglou could get the best out of him.
Solomon will be able to play his natural game with more freedom and it remains to be seen whether he can influence proceedings in the final third on a consistent basis.
The words of praise from the Tottenham manager will also come as a major boost for the summer signing and he will look to build on his impressive start to life at Tottenham.
