What Munn, Stellini, Levy Are Up To + A Detailed Look At The Division

By The Boy -

Levy’s hire of Scott Munn has really turned heads among the U12s, despite the reality of it being just another admin hire. It would be hypocritical of anyone not to applaud Baldy for seeking to improve the people infrastructure on the footballing side, but will he listen to what they have to say? He can hire a hundred advisors, but if he ignores good advice, it is meaningless.

The €200m plus of bad buys on loan will be being not be ignored inside the club, as it is, on the outside; most of those players are back in N17 at the end of June. So maybe this guy will be gifted the role of being able to say ‘no’ without being tossed into a void of gardening leave. Hurrah.

Cristian Stellini (a firm fan favourite for a handful of games) has gently smashed the dreams of the client reference numbers, still in any doubt…

“You have to accept that I was an assistant manager for a long time with Antonio so we have to accept that my mind came from this history. But I don’t think that as a manager, if you change something different, you have a different result [at Everton]. It is in the mind of the player and in the way you want to play a match that change this.”

What does this mean in English? It means, ‘Business As Usual’, that’s what it means – then you already knew that – because shuffling the same bad cards will never affect your ability to win the game.

Arguably the best thing Stellini said was an inadvertent endorsement of a coach that could in theory replace him in the summer:

De Zerbi is more a manager consistent in the way he wants to hurt the opponent,”

“He is more focused with the ball and what they can do with the ball and being aggressive when they lose the ball.?

So you think he fits the job description that most Spurs fans have …and there is perhaps a revealing barb aimed at our current crop of valiant heroes:

“He is more focused with the ball and what they can do with the ball and being aggressive when they lose the ball. Potter was more fluid in the change of system but the players are smart to do it. You have to create intelligent player to do it.”

Smart and intelligent you say, uh oh, say I.
