“We’ve all seen this story before” Watch Conte stumble when asked to map out his future at Spurs

Moose (Ian Abrahams) from talkSPORT asked the standout question of today’s pre-Leeds presser. Antonio Conte was clearly seeking to play down his outburst at Turf Moor, but that kinda failed, as he touched on a few of his niggles again in this presser. The Moose was blunt and for me, the more of this line of questioning in press conferences, the better.

We have heard all this before, from Villas-Boas, from Poch, from Mourinho, from Nuno, and now from you, Mr. Conte.

Our head coach stumbled, mumbling about the present, not the future…

More important than the Conte soap opera is the football aspect. With no Bentancour for awhile and Skippy not ready it’s time tomorrow to start the Harvey White era.

Sadly BT, our “Spurs-supporter” CEO thinks we are so stupid that Poch coming back as a patsy (I was a huge MoPo fan first time around and thought it criminal he wasn’t properly backed) and a cracked shadow of the Spurs-Bale would show the fans real ambition. Levy has ambition but he’s achieved most of it and even the pathetic one LC isn’t even on his CV.

Levy knows nothing and he cares about nothing when it comes to football, just the penny pinching…

Nothing was ever going to be rectified in one January window, Levy knows it Conte knows it and we all knew it but perhaps the writing was on the wall when junk like Adama Traore isn’t convince by you. That and perhaps Conte realised pretty quickly the rebuild needed will take far longer than the 18 months he has signed up for. There is so much dead wood I’d its difficult for him to see there ever being light at the end of the tunnel. I think the guy is on the brink

So we can assume that Levy has said we need to manage the narrative Antonio. If we fail to get a CL place then we will spin a line that allows you to leave with your reputation intact and allows us to continue to spin the “project jam tomorrow” line. I am already speaking with my love child Pooch and he is “very appy” to return for another 5-year project and I have told him we are “very appy” if he continues to fail to win anything. That will allow you to play off Man Utd and Athletico Madrid, Antonio to get the best deal you can and we can focus on the really important stuff like Guns & Roses concerts and building some more residential properties and hotels.

We’ve got to start boycotting matches if he leaves. I’m up for it.

He’s been told to keep his mouth shut and stick to the script ….

I’m reading that Sam Matterface interviewed him and the strong indication is that he’s close to leaving. I thought he might last to the season’s end, but if this does happen, Levy has excelled himself.

Moose, I think he is the best on TalkBalls because he is 100% genuine. We all have flaws, none of us are perfect, but when I hear the likes of Alan Brazil et al bullying, and it is that Ian Abrahams and belittling him it says so much about the lack of quality in some people’s character. Moose asked the key question and it remains the issue with or without Antonio.

I think we all know no CL next year means no Conte – at least he didn’t come out and say it this time!
