A wholesome footage of Ange Postecoglou welcoming Timo Werner to the team has gone viral on social media.
Tottenham announced the signing of the former Chelsea striker last night.
The RB Leipzig man joins on loan for the rest of the season with Spurs covering his entire wage during the time period.
There is an option to buy permanently at the end of the loan deal for a fee of £14.5m – which will be a bargain if Ange can get him to his former self.
Timo agreed to join Spurs immediately after speaking to Ange.
And the Australian gave him a proper welcoming during the first training session.
The clip shows him warmly welcoming Timo to the group and urged the rest of the staff and players to help him feel welcomed.
