Once again, Tottenham seems to be struggling to shake off their old habits as they concede an early goal.
Jacob Ramsey gave Villa an early lead this time, but the goal didn’t come out of nowhere.
It was the result of an excellent play by Ramsey and Leon Bailey on the right side of the pitch. Ramsey showed his intelligence and great awareness by making a well-timed run into the box, positioning himself perfectly to put the ball past the keeper with a first-time finish.
Pedro Porro switched off for a second allowing Ramsey the space to run in ahead of him and despite late effort to keep up with him, the Aston Villa man was too strong and determined to get to the ball first.
